337.010. Terms defined.

(d) "Employer" is any person, either individual, corporation, partnership, agency, or firm who employs an employee and includes any person, either individual, corporation, partnership, agency, or firm acting directly or indirectly in the interest of an employer in relation to an employee.

337.015. Adoption of child; Employee leave of absence.

Upon receiving written request by an employee, every employer shall grant reasonable personal leave not to exceed six (6) weeks when the reception of an adoptive child under the age of seven (7) is reason for such request.
