EEOC to Hold Meeting About National Origin Discrimination

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will hold a meeting on Wed., Nov. 13, at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Time), at agency headquarters, 131 M Street, N.E., Washington D.C. 20507.  In accordance with the Sunshine Act, the open session of the meeting will be open to public observation of the Commission's deliberations.

The Commission will hear from invited panelists on national origin discrimination issues in today's workplace.  Participants will discuss various recruitment and hiring issues; discriminatory treatment in assignments; pay discrimination; language and accent issues; effective communication and access issues; harassment; and retaliation.
